FACADE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

If your commercial building needs a "facelift", here is a sensible answer to your problem. The City of El Centro Redevelopment Agency has developed a program, which enables you to receive cash rebate for improvements made to the store-front of your building.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO? Request a Facade Improvement Program Packet and Application. The purpose of the program is to encourage rehabilitation of commercial storefronts in the downtown.
Eligible improvements include new paint, signs, awnings, landscaping, exterior water cleaning and new door/window treatment. The Agency will assist you in preparing the needed package for program submittal.

ELIGIBLE AREAS .- Any Commercial property located within the boundaries of the Redevelopment Project Area, with the primary target area shown on the map to the left.

Improvements will be rebated at 50% of the allowable costs. Maximum Rebate $10,000 Per Storefront
