LABRUCHERIE AVENUE WIDENING IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

  

The City of El Centro is inviting bids for the La Brucherie Avenue Widening Improvements.

 

  SCOPE OF WORK

Certain road-widening and pavement rehabilitation improvements to a 2,600-foot segment of La Brucherie Avenue, beginning approximately 350 feet south of Orange Avenue and ending at the intersection of La Brucherie Avenue and Commercial Avenue/Barbara Worth Drive in the City of El Centro. 

This project will widen La Brucherie Avenue from two (2) lane roadway to a four (4) lane arterial street with abutting curbs, gutters, sidewalks/driveways and curb return improvements to both sides of La Brucherie Avenue. Rehabilitation improvements include the reconstruction and deepening of the roadway structural section to meet future arterial demands. All widening and rehabilitation improvements are to be constructed within the limits of existing right-of-way.

SEALED BIDS will be accepted at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1275 West Main Street, El Centro, California until 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at which time all bids will  be  publicly  opened  and  read  aloud.  NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED ELECTRONICALLY. All bids must be hard copy and either mailed or hand-delivered.

266 LA BRUCHERIE RD. AND 2010 W MAIN STREET DEMOLITION PROJECT

 

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The WORK includes but is not limited to:

Furnishing  all labor, materials,  necessary tools, equipment,  supervision, appurtenances, construction  permits,  utility  owner  coordination,  and  all  utility and  transportation   services required for; the abatement  of all Hazardous Materials (Asbestos & Lead Based Paint) prior to demolition activities, the demolition of the existing residential structure including slab and foundation,building appurtenances  as  well as  demolition  of  existing  section  of  block  wall, concrete driveway, sidewalks, trees, trash, septic tank(s) and concrete  water cistern. Following demolition, the site shall be rough graded with erosion control measures, clearing and grubbing of the existing site; all as shown on the construction plans.

 

Sealed Bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk, City of El Centro, OWNER of the WORK, located at 1275 Main Street, El Centro, CA 92243, until May 3, 2018, at 2:00 p.m.

TRAFFIC SIGNAL INTERCONNECTION PROJECT  CML-5169 (050)

 

The City of El Centro is requesting proposals from engineering consultants to complete the design plans and specifications for the following state funded project:

 1. CMAQ Project. City project number CML-5169 (050)

The City proposes to upgrade certain signal lights along Dogwood Avenue and Danenberg Avenue on the South East section of the City of El Centro.

MAIN STREET RAILROAD CROSSING SECTION 130 SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

 

The City of El Centro is inviting bids for the Main Street Railroad Crossing Section 130 Safety Improvements Project STPLR-7500(214).

SCOPE OF WORK

The work includes construction of concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, asphalt patching, sawcutting of existing asphalt, fine grading as well of demolition of existing improvements to accommodate the new work. Project requires coordination with Union Pacific Railroad for their installation of a modified rail crossing. Rail road structures are not a part of contract.   The intent of the improvements are to provide a safe means for pedestrians to travel along Main Street.

SEALED PROPOSAL will be accepted at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1275 Main Street, El Centro, California until 2:00 p.m. on January 18, 2018, at which time all proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Swarthout Park Parking Lot Improvements

The City of El Centro is inviting bids for the Swarthout Park Parking Lot Improvements project.

SCOPE OF WORK:   

Furnishing all labor, materials, necessary tools, equipment, supervision, appurtenances,construction permits, utility owner coordination, and all utility and transportation services required for construction of a community park parking lot including but not limited to: Erosion control measures, clearing and grubbing of the existing site; and construction of concrete curbing and swales, sidewalk, drainage facilities, asphalt parking lot, installation of class II base, all as shown on the construction plans.
