EL CENTRO ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION PROJECT IMPROVEMENTS

Sealed Bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk, City of El Centro, OWNER of the WORK, located at 1275 Main Street, El Centro, CA 92243, until November 9, 2018, at 2:00 PM.
Bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid meeting, which will be conducted by the City of El Centro CONSTRUCTION MANAGER at 10:00 AM. on October 23, 2018. The meeting will be held at the City of El Centro, Conference Room B located at 1275 W. Main Street, El Centro CA 92243.
The WORK includes but is not limited to: Furnishing all labor, materials, necessary tools, equipment, supervision, appurtenances, construction permits, utility owner coordination, and all utility and transportation services required for; Construction of a wayfinding signage, street bike lane signage, installation of bicycle racks and incidentals, traffic control, all as shown on the construction plans. The scope of work is more specifically described on the construction plans and in these Specifications.

The City of El Centro is soliciting proposals for space planning and design consultation for the remodel of the Valley Center Point Shopping Center located at 1002 N. Imperial Avenue as well as final design of the City Library within the site.
A mandatory, pre-proposal conference will be conducted on September 17, 2018, 10:00 AM at the City’s Economic Development Office (Large Conference Room), located at 1249 W. Main Street, El Centro, CA 92243.

2018 Street overlay and parking lots resurfacing project
The work shall include grinding of existing asphalt concrete pavement, installation of conventional-asphalt concrete leveling course, asphalt-rubber and aggregate membrane, gap graded asphalt-rubber hot mix, slurry seal, crack filling, traffic striping, utility adjustments, concrete sidewalk and curb/gutter, minor aggregate base and traffic control as described in Chapter 5 of the Caltrans Traffic Manual and the latest edition of Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (“California MUTCD”).
The Contract Documents may be obtained at the Engineering office located at 1275 W. Main Street, El Centro, CA, 92243 for a non-refundable fee of forty dollars ($40). Compact disks containing electronic copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained for a non-refundable fee of five dollars ($5).
