PAL needs help from the community. Help the boys and girls in El Centro join teams not gangs.
You can be a PAL in any of the following ways:

  • Volunteer: Donate your time to support your favorite sport, recreation, education or enrichment program.
  • Contributor: A donation of $50.00 or more, would enable PAL to provide the necessities for a youth to Join a Team Not a Gang.
  • Team Sponsor: Donate $500.00 or more, and give an entire team a chance to take part in fun, healthy and enrichment activities.
  • Underwriter/Youth Center Contributor: $1,000.00 or more would ensure that PAL programs will be ongoing. It will make many things possible for El Centro Boys and Girls.

Responsibilities of Volunteers
  • Dependability: Punctuality and reliability are necessary to efficiency of the over-all program. It is vital that all volunteers notify the Exectuive Director or the PAL office when he/she is unable to be present for a scheduled shift so that arrangements may be make for a substitute.
  • Sense of Importance: Each position at PAL, no matter how small it appears, is part of a master program. Your participation makes it possible for the rest of the program to be carried out to a successful conclusion.
  • Attitude: It is expected that all volunteers treat the public or the other personnel in a friendly, courteous, professional manner. All volunteers are also required to get familiar with the services offered at PAL.
  • Priviliges: The price of privilege is responsibility. Since volunteers are committed to PAL, we must respect one another and work for the organization we believe to be worthwhile.
