Lunch at the Library Program’s Christmas Giveaway
On Friday, December 18, 2020, every child that received a lunch also received a Christmas stocking and a colorful, oversized Disney book. Pedro Leal, Library Page, dressed as Santa Claus, and handed out the stockings and even posed for photos with several of the children.
The stockings consisted of a candy cane, a book, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Christmas themed coloring book, crayons, pencil bag, and a toy. Our patrons Danaye and Daniel Nieto, Jr. were again generous donors of the pencil bags. The pencil bags contained bookmarks, pencils, and colorful notepads.
