Leticia Salcido

Ms. Leticia Salcido has been appointed as the Finance Director for the City of El Centro. Her experience includes her seventeen years of accounting and auditing experience in the public sector.

Prior to working for El Centro, Ms. Salcido served as the Assistant Finance Director for the City of Brawley, California for seven and half years. She also served as their Accountant for an additional three years. While living in the Los Angles area, Ms. Salcido has also been employed as a Corporation Examiner for the California State Department of Corporations for six and half years. Her duties then included planning and conducting financial audits and developing budgets and operating procedures within the organization.

Ms Salcido has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Ms Salcido has twice been the recipient of the Award for Financial Reporting Achievement issued by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada. She is a past president of the Brawley Kiwanis Club.
