11th Day of November Known as Veteran's Day
4th Thursday in November Known as Thanksgiving Day
4th Friday in November Known as the Day after Thanksgiving
25th Day of December Called Christmas Day
One-half day on the afternoon of December 24th  
One-half day on the afternoon of December 31st  
NOTE: If a holiday falls in a Saturday or Sunday, the City closes on the preceding Friday. Also, each employee has an aditional holiday on the day of his/her birthday, known as Employee's Birthday.
Most City Departments (Except Emergency Services) are closed.
